I’m sorry I left without saying goodbye. I had to leave as I was tired of my home life. I needed an adventure away from home. Far, far far away. When I saw a poster advertising this newly discovered land, I just knew that I had to go. So, I got on a big ship, called the Queen Charlotte and sailed with my friends to a beautiful place called New Zealand. It’s so pretty. Everywhere I look is green. There are so many trees and grasslands everywhere.
Anyway, I miss you all terribly. How is little Johnny? I miss him a lot. I also really miss your yummy stews for dinner. The first people here had to sign something called a treaty to agree on sharing the land with the indigenous.
You should come visit sometime. You can stay at my Whare and bring little Johnny. You could start a new life here.
