My Turangawaewae is here

Kia Ora welcome to my blog this week we had to write a short 70-100 word kind of like a poem but about our turangawaewae for me my turangawaewae was new Brighton beach here is my plan and also my writing:

Where the blue sky lays,

The waves crashing against the rocks,

In the distance all you see is moana,

The shiny waves ripple over the sand,

You dive in you feel the icy cold blistering water around your body,

You feel the warm welcoming sunny breeze against your face,

Time to hop out the sand slides up between your toes,

You leave foot marks in the sand, you pick up a sandy brown stick and write in

the sand what a lovely day i've had today.

You leave your turangawaewae thinking I've had an amazing and adventurous day.

where is your turangawaewae?

Poem's have landed in Christchurch

Kia Ora, Today my blog is about my poems I made two poems one is about Ngāi Tahu and the other one is about Native birds you will find in christchurch is the one about native birds: When you're looking outside, what do you hear  the beautiful noise of the tuis singing their waiata as loud as they can? Then you walk along while seeing the kiwis digging for food. Keep walking along and you find the keas picking at your car. this one is about Ngai Tahu :800 years ago our ancestors see off on there waka sailing over the seas, to find the beautiful aotearoa sailing under the beautiful stars and using the stars As there maps. And making their home Te Waipounamu (South Island).

Have you ever seen of any of these birds?

My pa

My PA has 3 levels ground, 1st floor and 2nd floor. Ground level there is a garden patch with fruit trees and a veggie patch. Also at the ground level is where they make their kai and make traps and weapons. The 1st floor is where the houses are and where all of the maori people and children sleep. The 2nd floor is where they had meetings and there is a viewpoint to see if there are enemies. They get the traps ready and put all of the children in the secret basement.

here is what my PA looks like

Do you know what a pa is and if you brought my pa how much would you pay?
